I’m committed to helping clients develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. I work with adolescent girls(15yrs+) and adult women(18yrs+)in individual therapy. I also offer education/guidance session for parents looking to improve their family relationships and approach to parenting. I started my work as a therapist in 2001 and have worked in a variety of settings with a diverse population. I practiced as a Registered Play Therapist for many years and have a wealth of experience and perspective when it comes to parenting. I am also the mother of 3 children. My work focuses on understanding each client's story and providing practical/real life guidance. I believe in taking a collaborative and holistic approach to helping clients reach their goals. Connection and curiosity are keys that unlock the best in us. Being curious about our struggles, rather than resisting or trying to escape, allows us to learn and develop awareness. Facing the tough stuff in our lives can be hard AND it helps us become resilient. I know this because of my training, as well as my personal life experience. In therapy, I prioritize building a strong connection and providing a safe place to get curious and identify the patterns that keep us stuck and struggling.
